Get Set 4 Swimrun Camps and Workshops are held in order to improve your performance in a new yet ever-growing, popular sport which originated in Sweden. It is about combining your open water swimming and running together and 'bringing' your kit with you!
It will be run by Dr. Julie Bradshaw MBE and Mike Alexander both experts in their field

This session is suitable for complete beginners/novices to Swimrun. Whether you’ve already entered a Swimrun event or you just want to try it out, then this is for you. To get the most out of this course please make sure that you have previous open water swimming experience and that you can swim continuously for 1km. Please contact us if you are unsure about anything. This year for example, the one day workshop covered the following.
14:00 - Welcome and introductions from Julie & Mike
14:10 - Practical session from Mike covering:
15:15 - Run session with Mike: using a tow system, tips for steep & uneven ground, land-based transition practice.
16:15 - Tea & biscuits break! Refreshments available in cafe
16:30 - Swim questions with Julie
17:00 - Hit the lake for expert Open Water Swim Coaching from Julie. You’ll be focusing on:
18:00 – Mini Swimrun with Julie & Mike - a short route with several transitions to help practice and consolidate what you have learnt.
18:45 - UK races, International races... feel inspired, choose your race!
£95 per person/£175 per couple (Includes coaching and safety cover and entry to the lake)
Includes: 2 coaching sessions, a short swimrun, some swimrun demo suits available, changing rooms and lots of fun!
You’ll need to bring the following equipment (a full list will be sent when you book but essentials are below):
We will have a few paddles and pull buoys that you can try using if you don’t have your own.
